Bus
From Jurmala, walk to the nearest bus stop. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Jūrmala, Rīgas iela'. Board bus number 2, which is heading towards Riga. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. After about 10 stops, get off at the 'Mežaparks' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the park entrance.
Train
Head to the Jūrmala train station, which is usually located near the beach area. Purchase a ticket to Riga. Board the train heading towards Riga. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Riga train station, exit and walk towards the bus stop. Take bus number 2 from the station towards Mežaparks. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Mežaparks'.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Jurmala. Head towards the Riga direction via the cycling path along the coastline. Continue cycling until you reach the intersection of Rīgas iela and Mežaparka iela. Turn right onto Mežaparka iela, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Mežaparks.
Walking
If you feel like a scenic walk, you can head towards Mežaparks directly on foot. Start from the center of Jurmala, walk along Jomas Street towards the main road, and follow the signs towards Riga. It will take about 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. Walk along the path, and when you reach the intersection with Mežaparka iela, turn left. You will see the entrance to Mežaparks after a short distance.
