Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride which takes around 25 minutes. Upon arrival at Riga Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the city center.

    From Jurmala, you can catch a bus to Riga from the Jūrmala bus station, which is located near the train station. Buses to Riga leave regularly, about every 30 minutes. The ticket price is similar to the train, around 2-3 euros. The bus ride to Riga takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Riga bus station, you can walk towards the city center, which is just a short 10-minute walk.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Jurmala. You can follow the paved cycle path along the coast which leads towards Riga. The ride will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Keep following the signs towards the city center of Riga once you approach the outskirts.

    For the adventurous, you can walk to Riga from Jurmala. This is a long trek of approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 4-5 hours. Start from the beach and follow the coastal path leading to the city. Once you reach the outskirts of Riga, follow the signs to the city center.
