Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Kuldiga city center, specifically from the Kuldiga District Museum located at 1 A. Upīša Street. Head south on A. Upīša Street towards the main road, Jāņa Street. Turn left onto Jāņa Street and continue straight. After about 600 meters, you will reach the intersection with Kuldīgas iela. Cross over to the other side of the street and continue on Kuldīgas iela for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for signs directing you to Alekšupīte waterfall. As you approach, you will need to turn left onto a smaller path that leads toward the waterfall area. The waterfall is located about 300 meters down this path.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle in Kuldiga, start at the Kuldiga District Museum and head south on A. Upīša Street. Continue to Jāņa Street and turn left. Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Kuldīgas iela. Turn left on Kuldīgas iela and bike for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating the direction to Alekšupīte waterfall. You will then turn left onto a smaller path leading to the waterfall, which is about 300 meters away.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the central bus station in Kuldiga, take a local bus that heads towards the nearby villages. Check the schedule for a bus that has a stop called 'Alekšupīte' or one that goes towards the direction of the waterfall. Once you arrive at the bus stop, head in the direction indicated by the bus driver or locals. The waterfall is typically a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs towards Alekšupīte waterfall. Be sure to ask for assistance if you are unsure!
