Dome Square: The Heart of Old Riga

Dome Square, or Doma laukums, is the central and largest square in Riga's Old Town. It is considered the heart of the city, with seven streets converging into it like arteries. The square's development began in the late 19th century when buildings were razed to provide a clear view of the Riga Dome Cathedral.
