From Riga, take a train or bus to Sigulda, Cēsis, or Valmiera, which serve as access points to Gauja National Park. Trains from Riga Central Station to Sigulda take approximately 58 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes and cost around €2. Buses from Riga SAO (main bus station) to Sigulda take around 1 hour 8 minutes and cost approximately €2.85. Check schedules on www.1188.lv. From these towns, local buses connect to various points within the park.
