JuRita Mini Zoo: A Family-Friendly Animal Encounter

JuRita Mini Zoo is a delightful escape into the animal kingdom, situated in the tranquil Naujene parish of Latvia. This family-friendly zoo provides an opportunity to connect with a variety of animals in a beautifully maintained environment. Visitors can encounter alpacas, llamas, kangaroos, a camel, dwarf sheep and goats, ponies, donkeys, horses, rabbits, and other animals. JuRita Mini Zoo is open from June 1st to September 30th, Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 to 18:00. From October 1st to May 31st, the zoo is open only on weekends from 11:00 to 15:00. Admission is free for children under 3 and people with disabilities under 18. For children aged 3-18, seniors, and people with disabilities over 18, the entry fee is 5 EUR. Adults pay 6 EUR. Animal feed is available for 1 EUR. While some visitors have noted that the roads leading to the zoo can be bumpy , the experience of interacting with the animals makes the journey worthwhile. The zoo also offers a parking lot for visitors arriving by car.
