Getting there

Train

From Riga Central Station, take the train towards Jūrmala. Purchase a ticket for a destination to Jūrmala. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Jūrmala Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Jomas iela). Follow Jomas iela until you reach the beach. From the beach, walk along the coastal promenade heading towards Dzintari. Look for signs directing you to Dzintaru Forest Park, which is about a 15-minute walk from the beach.

Bus

You can take bus number 200 from Riga Central Bus Station to Jūrmala. Make sure to buy a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. The bus ride takes around 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Dzintari' bus stop. After getting off the bus, walk towards the beach and follow the signs to Dzintaru Forest Park, which is just a short walk away.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Riga. Head towards the coastal path that leads to Jūrmala. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your speed. Follow the signs along the path leading to Jūrmala and once you enter the town, look for signs pointing to Dzintaru Forest Park.

Walking

If you are adventurous and want to walk from Riga to Jūrmala, start at the Daugava River and follow the riverbank. This route will take you around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Jūrmala, make your way towards the beach and follow the signs to Dzintaru Forest Park.
