Getting There

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are starting from the city center, head to the 'Riga Central Station' tram stop. From there, take tram number 7 or 11 heading towards 'Tirzas iela'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Nēģu iela' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead for about 200 meters. Riga Central Market will be on your left at Nēģu iela 7.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the 'Riga Central Station', you can also take bus number 22 towards 'Zasulauks'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Riga Central Market' bus stop. Cross the street, and the market entrance will be right in front of you. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the market entrance.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Old Town area, you can walk to Riga Central Market. Head east on 'Krāmu iela' towards 'Bastejkalna parks'. Continue straight to 'Brīvības iela' and turn left. Walk along Brīvības iela until you reach 'Nēģu iela'. Turn right onto Nēģu iela, and you will see the market entrance after about 300 meters.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the 'Daugava River' pathway. Start from the riverfront and follow the path towards the city center. Once you reach 'Nēģu iela', turn right and continue straight until you reach Riga Central Market. There are bike racks available near the market entrance.
