    If you are in Jurmala, head to the nearest train station, which is either Majori or Dubulti. Trains to Riga run frequently. Purchase a ticket to Riga Central Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Riga Central Station, exit the station to the main street.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Jurmala, you can also take a bus to Riga. Look for buses heading to Rīga at the nearest bus stop. Buses run regularly, and the journey may take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Rīga Central Bus Station. From there, walk to the nearby Riga Central Station and follow the directions for the train option.

  • Walking from Riga Central Station

    After exiting the Riga Central Station, head northeast on Rīgas iela. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Herdera laukums. Turn left onto Herdera laukums, and you will find Riga Cathedral at Herdera laukums 6. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

  • Tram

    Alternatively, you can take a tram from Riga Central Station. Walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located on Stacijas iela. Board tram number 5 or 7 heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Rātslaukums'. From there, it's a short walk; head south on Kalpaka bulvāris, then turn left onto Herdera laukums. The cathedral will be on your right.
