Car
If you are driving to Small Cave, start from the center of Sigulda. Head north on Turaidas iela for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The cave is located near the edge of the Teici Nature Reserve. There is a small parking area available nearby. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs indicating the entrance to the nature reserve.
Public Transportation
To reach Small Cave via public transportation, take a bus from Riga to Sigulda. Buses run regularly from the Riga International Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Sigulda bus station, take a local bus (number 1 or 2) towards Turaida Castle. Get off at the 'Turaida' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From there, you can walk approximately 20 minutes along Turaidas iela to reach Small Cave. Follow the path through the forest, which leads directly to the cave.
Walking
If you are already within the Teici Nature Reserve, you can walk to Small Cave by following the marked trails. Start at the main entrance of the reserve and take the trail leading towards Turaidas iela. Follow the signs for the cave, which is about a 30-minute walk through the scenic forest. Ensure you wear suitable footwear as the paths can be uneven.
