Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Ventspils town center. From the central square (J. Janševska Square), head towards the beach area. Walk down the main street, Lielais prospekts, until you reach the intersection with Bangu iela. Turn left onto Bangu iela and continue walking straight. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the coastline. Look for signs pointing to the Kurzeme coastline nature preserve, which is located at Bangu iela 61. The beach area is easily accessible from there.

Public Transport
From the Ventspils bus station, take Bus No. 1 or Bus No. 2 towards the beach area. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the 'Bangu iela' stop, which is the nearest stop to the Kurzeme coastline. From the bus stop, walk straight down Bangu iela for about 500 meters. You will see signs directing you to the coastline, which is just a short walk away at Bangu iela 61.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Ventspils. Start from the Ventspils town center and ride along Lielais prospekts heading towards the beach. Follow the bike paths that lead to Bangu iela. Once you reach Bangu iela, continue cycling straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the Kurzeme coastline at Bangu iela 61. There are bike racks available near the beach where you can securely park your bike.
