Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jelgava and head northwest on Rīgas iela/A8. Continue on A8 for approximately 25 km. Merge onto the A6 highway towards Rīga. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Rīga and continue on the A6 until you reach the city outskirts. Follow the signs for 'Zemgales priekšpilsēta' and then turn onto Unnamed Road. Beķergarden will be located on your right. There is no parking fee in the area, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Beķergarden via public transportation, take a bus from Jelgava to Rīga. The bus leaves from the Jelgava bus station and typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Rīga's central bus station, switch to tram line 4, heading towards 'Zemitāni'. Disembark at the 'Zemgales priekšpilsēta' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Beķergarden. Be sure to check the current bus and tram schedules, as they vary throughout the day. A ticket for the bus will cost around 2 EUR, and tram tickets are typically 1.15 EUR.
