Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the main town of Deir El Qamar, head south on the main road (Route 7) towards Barouk. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the town of Barouk. Once you arrive in Barouk, follow the signs for Barouk Reserve which will guide you to PM4F+VC5. There is parking available at the reserve entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a bus from Beirut to Deir El Qamar. Buses leave regularly from the Cola intersection. Once you arrive in Deir El Qamar, you will need to take a taxi or a shared taxi to Barouk. The taxi ride should take around 15 minutes and cost approximately 10,000 LBP. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Barouk Reserve.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Barouk and want to reach the reserve by foot, from the town center, head towards the east and follow the road signs leading to Barouk Reserve. It is about a 30-minute walk, approximately 2 km. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
