From the center of Baalbek, head towards the main square, which is near the Roman ruins. Once you are at the square, look for the signs directing towards Zahlé. Walk along the main road, which is the Baalbek-Zahlé highway (also known as the International Road). It should take about 30-40 minutes to reach Zahlé on foot. As you walk, you will pass by local shops and cafes, providing a great opportunity to explore the local culture.

Public Transport
From the main square in Baalbek, you can catch a shared taxi (service taxi) to Zahlé. Look for a taxi that has passengers already in it, as they will be heading to Zahlé. The fare is usually around 15,000 LBP. Once you are in the taxi, it will take approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Zahlé. When you arrive, ask the driver to drop you off near the Lady of Zahle church, which is known to locals.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Baalbek. After renting, head towards the Baalbek-Zahlé highway and start cycling on the same route mentioned for walking. It will take about 15-20 minutes to reach Zahlé, depending on your pace.
