Walking
If you are in Byblos town center, start at the Byblos Souk. Head north towards the coastal road (Lebanon's Highway 51). Once you reach the highway, turn right and walk along the coast. Continue walking straight for about 30 minutes until you reach the entrance of Tripoli. As you approach Tripoli, look for signs directing you to the Tripoli Citadel, which is located in the city center.
Bus
From Byblos, head to the main bus station located near the Byblos port. Take a bus heading to Tripoli. The journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Tripoli bus station, exit the bus and head straight towards the city center. Follow the signs to the Tripoli Citadel, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
Taxi
You can find a taxi near the Byblos port or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Explain to the driver that you want to go to the Tripoli Citadel. The drive takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Tripoli, the driver can drop you off close to the Citadel entrance.
