Walking
Starting from the center of Deir el Qamar, head towards the main road (Beirut-Damascus Highway). Walk uphill on the main street, passing by the historical buildings and shops in the town. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the crossroads. At the crossroads, take a left onto the Moukhtara Road. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, where you will see directional signs for Moukhtara Palace. Continue following the signs until you arrive at Moukhtara Palace, located at MJ57+7MJ.
Public Transport
From Deir el Qamar, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Look for a minibus or shared taxi heading towards Moukhtara. These typically run every 30 minutes. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to stop at Moukhtara Palace. The journey usually takes about 15-20 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Moukhtara Palace, which will be clearly marked.
