Walk down the main street until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Sidon. Turn left at the intersection, and continue walking straight. You will pass several small shops and local cafes. Stay on this road, which will gradually take you downhill. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the edge of Sidon. Follow the signs for the city center, and you will soon see the prominent landmarks of Sidon, such as the sea castle. The entire journey should take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace.

From any location in Deir el Qamar, you can easily find a local taxi. Simply ask any local or look for a taxi stand near the town center. When you get into the taxi, inform the driver that you want to go to Sidon. The driver will take the main road connecting Deir el Qamar to Sidon.
