Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jbeil (Byblos). Head southeast on the main road (Beirut - Tripoli highway) towards Byblos. After about 2 kilometers, take the exit towards the old town area. Continue straight until you reach the historical center of Byblos. Look for signs indicating the Medieval City Walls, which is located near the old souk and the Byblos Castle. There is a parking area available nearby, but be mindful of parking fees which may vary.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Jbeil towards Byblos. Buses and shared taxis frequently run in this direction. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Byblos, disembark at the main square. From there, follow the signs towards the old town area. The Medieval City Walls are a short walk from the square, typically taking around 5-10 minutes on foot.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the historical center of Jbeil, simply walk towards the old town area. The Medieval City Walls are located close to the Byblos Castle and the old souk. You can easily follow the signs posted around the area, which are in both Arabic and English. The walk from the main square to the Medieval City Walls should take no more than 10 minutes.
