The village is home to several churches, including the Notre Dame de Liban shrine, hosting numerous religious events throughout the year. The modern Maronite cathedral, built of concrete and glass, stands next to the statue. The Byzantine-style Melkite Greek Catholic basilica of St. Paul is also nearby.To reach Harissa, many tourists take the Téléférique cable car from Jounieh, offering an exciting and scenic journey to the monument.
