Driving
From Beirut, take the highway north towards Jbeil (Byblos). Continue past Byblos, following signs for Qartaba and then Afqa. The drive is approximately 2 hours, covering around 80 km. Once in Afqa, follow local signs to the waterfall. Parking is available near the site. Expect uneven roads in the immediate vicinity of the falls.
Public Transport
From Beirut, take a bus to Jbeil (Byblos). From Jbeil, take a local bus or shared taxi (service) heading towards Afqa. The bus ride from Jbeil to Afqa takes approximately 30-40 minutes. From the drop-off point in Afqa, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the waterfall; follow signs or ask locals for directions. A bus ticket from Beirut to Jbeil costs around LBP 5,000-10,000. A shared taxi from Jbeil to Afqa will cost approximately LBP 15,000-25,000.
