Walking
If you are starting from the Sidon Sea Castle, exit the castle and walk down the path towards the waterfront. Continue walking along the Corniche El Fakhani, enjoying the views of the Mediterranean Sea. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the main road. Turn right onto the main road and continue walking straight. After approximately 5 minutes, you will see signs for the Historic District. Follow the signs, and you will eventually arrive at Khan El Franj, which is located in the heart of the Historic District.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Sidon Bus Station, look for buses heading towards the Historic District or Saida Souk. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Historic District. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the signs to Khan El Franj, which is a short walking distance from the bus stop.
Taxi (Shared)
Find a shared taxi near the central market area in Sidon. These taxis often operate in a shared format, picking up multiple passengers. Tell the driver you want to go to the Historic District. The taxi ride will take around 5-10 minutes. Once dropped off, follow the directions to Khan El Franj, which is located nearby in the Historic District.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, find a local bike rental shop in Sidon. Rent a bicycle and head towards the Historic District. Follow the main roads towards the waterfront, then take the path leading to the Historic District. The ride is pleasant and should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in the area, look for signs directing you to Khan El Franj.
