Walking
Start at the main square of Zahle, known as Zahle Plaza. From here, head east on the main road (Avenue de l’Indépendance) toward the Berdawni River. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the river, where you will see various cafes and restaurants. Continue walking along the riverbank heading northeast for another 5 minutes until you see a sign for the Berdawni River cafes. Take a left turn away from the river onto a smaller street. Continue straight for approximately 700 meters. Hotel Akl will be on your right side, just past a small park.
Public Transport
From Zahle Plaza, take a local bus (or shared taxi) heading toward the Berdawni River area. The bus driver will drop you off near the river. Once you get off, walk along the riverbank heading northeast for about 5 minutes until you see a sign for the Berdawni River cafes. From there, take a left turn onto a smaller street and walk straight for about 700 meters. Hotel Akl will be on your right side, just past a small park.
