    Driving

    Afriski Mountain Resort is approximately a 4.5 to 5-hour drive from Johannesburg. The route involves crossing the Caledonspoort border post between South Africa and Lesotho. Ensure you have a valid passport, vehicle registration, and any required documents for traveling with children. After crossing the border, follow the A1 highway. Be prepared for steep, tarred mountain passes, including the Moteng Pass. Note that there are no fuel stations near the resort, so fill up in Bethlehem or Fouriesburg before crossing the border. There is a vehicle entrance fee of R100.
