Walking
From the center of Maseru, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with Kingsway. Turn right at Kingsway and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Makoanyane Road. Turn left onto Makoanyane Road and continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to remain on Makoanyane Road and continue for another kilometer until you see signs for Borokhoaneng, located at MG48+RC7. The walk from central Maseru should take roughly 30-40 minutes. There are no specific access fees for reaching the entrance.
Public Transport
From Maseru's central bus station, take a minibus taxi heading towards the south. In Lesotho, minibus taxis are a common and affordable way to get around. Ask the driver to drop you off near Makoanyane Road, close to Borokhoaneng. From there, follow Makoanyane Road for about a kilometer until you see signs for Borokhoaneng. The minibus fare should be around M13. Be prepared for a potentially crowded ride, as these taxis often depart when full.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Maseru. A taxi ride from the city center to Borokhoaneng, located approximately 5km away, will cost about 8 ZAR. Agree on the fare before starting your journey, as taxis are not metered. You can also use a ride-hailing app to book a taxi. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
