From the center of Mokhotlong, head east towards the Mokhotlong River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge at the end of Main Street. After crossing, turn left and follow the riverbank trail heading north. Continue along the trail for about 5 kilometers until you reach the base of the Drakensberg mountains. You will see the mountain range in the distance. The trail will take you closer to the foothills of the mountains.
