At the intersection, turn left onto the unpaved road. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for any dirt paths that may lead towards Telenyane. You will pass some local houses and farms. Keep walking straight until you reach the area marked 'CW48+M69', where Telenyane is located. Ensure you have a local map or ask locals for guidance if needed.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Quthing. Begin at the main square and head southwest on Mokhotlong Road. After about 2 kilometers, turn left at the intersection onto the dirt road leading to Telenyane. Cycle along this road for roughly 1.5 kilometers, which may be bumpy, so be cautious. Look for landmarks like local homesteads as you navigate. You will eventually arrive at the Telenyane hiking area, identified by the coordinates CW48+M69.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike directly to Telenyane from Quthing. Begin at the center of town and take the Mokhotlong Road heading southwest. After 2 kilometers, you'll see the turn-off for the dirt road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the hiking area at CW48+M69. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry enough water for the journey, as the terrain can be challenging.
