Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Quthing, head towards the Main Street (Mokhotlong Road). Walk south on Mokhotlong Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R19 road. At this junction, turn left onto R19 and continue for about 2 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and a bus station along the way. After 2 kilometers, look for a sign pointing towards Morija and Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters until you see the Morija Museum & Archives on your left at Church Street Box 12.

  • Local Taxi (Mokorotlo)

    From the center of Quthing, find a local taxi (known as Mokorotlo) that operates towards Morija. These taxis usually wait near the main market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Morija Museum & Archives. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off close to Church Street. Once you get off, walk down Church Street for about 500 meters until you reach the museum on your left at Church Street Box 12.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Quthing Town and ride south along Mokhotlong Road towards the R19 road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto the R19 road. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers until you spot the sign for Morija and Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and ride for another 500 meters. The Morija Museum & Archives will be on your left at Church Street Box 12.
