  The Red Cross Monument is located in the heart of Central Monrovia , making it easily accessible on foot from many points in the city center. From Broad Street, simply walk towards Capitol Hill; the monument is located on the median strip of Broad Street, opposite the National Museum. Walking is a good way to reach the monument, but be aware that Monrovia is not a very walkable city , with sidewalks often obstructed and heavy traffic. Please exercise caution.

• Public Transport

  Buses and shared taxis are common forms of transport in Monrovia. The National Transit Authority (NTA) operates a bus service , but it may be limited. Shared taxis are more prevalent. To reach the Red Cross Monument, look for a taxi heading towards Capitol Hill or the city center and ask to be dropped off near the National Museum on Broad Street. Be aware of safety risks when using public transport.
