To reach Omar Al-Mukhtar Mosque from central Ajdabiya by car, head northwest on Al-Shaab Street toward Al-Mukhtar Street. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the right exit onto the main highway towards Benghazi. After about 90 kilometers, take the exit toward Assabri. Follow the signs for Assabri and continue on the local roads until you arrive at the coordinates 32.1324677, 20.077303, where the mosque is located. Ensure you have enough fuel as there are limited gas stations along the highway. Parking is available around the mosque.

From Ajdabiya, you can take a public bus heading to Benghazi. The bus station is located near the city center. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Assabri, which is the area where the mosque is located. The bus ride costs approximately 5 LYD and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Assabri, you can either walk for about 10-15 minutes to the coordinates 32.1324677, 20.077303 or take a local taxi for an additional cost of around 10 LYD.
