Walking
From the main entrance of Leptis Magna, head straight down the primary pathway that leads into the site. You will pass the impressive Roman theater on your left. Continue walking along this path until you reach the intersection at the Forum. At this point, turn right and follow the path that leads towards the northern quadrant of the ruins. Keep walking until you reach the large open area known as the 'Basilica'. The Byzantine Gate is located just beyond this open area, on the eastern side. Look for the distinct archway structure that marks the entrance.

If you are near the Amphitheater, start by facing the Amphitheater entrance and head directly away from it. Walk towards the main path that leads to the center of the archaeological site. Continue straight until you see signage directing you towards the Basilica. Once you reach the Basilica, take a left towards the eastern side of the site. The Byzantine Gate will be visible as you approach, marked by its unique architectural features.
