Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the heart of Princes' Way, take the Liechtenstein Bundesstraße (Route 12) towards Steg. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers, following the signs for Steg and Gänglesee. Once you reach Steg, look for signs directing you to Gänglesee. There is a small parking area near the lake where you can leave your car. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so have some change ready.

Public Transportation

To reach Gänglesee via public transportation, first, find a bus stop in Princes' Way. You will take Bus Line 21 towards Steg. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Steg' bus stop. From there, you can either walk to Gänglesee, which is about a 20-minute hike uphill, or you can check if a local taxi service is available to take you directly to the lake. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before you start your journey.

Walking

If you're already in Steg and prefer to walk, head north on Hauptstraße towards the mountains. Follow the marked trail signs for Gänglesee. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace, and involves some elevation gain. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the path can be steep in some areas.
