Public Bus
From Ruggell, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Ruggell, Post'. Board the bus line 21 towards 'Vaduz, Post'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Alight at 'Vaduz, Post'. From there, walk towards the castle by heading up the hill on 'Bergstrasse'. The castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, and you will see signs directing you to Vaduz Castle.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Ruggell to Vaduz Castle, start from the center of Ruggell and head towards the main road, 'Landstrasse'. Follow 'Landstrasse' heading south until you reach the bus stop 'Ruggell, Post'. From here, you can catch the bus line 21 to 'Vaduz, Post' as mentioned above. Alternatively, you can continue walking along 'Landstrasse' towards Vaduz, which will take approximately an hour and a half, but be cautious of traffic and ensure a safe walking route.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Ruggell. Begin your journey heading south on 'Landstrasse'. Follow the bike paths leading towards Vaduz. The ride is approximately 6 km and should take about 25 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Vaduz, follow the signs to 'Bergstrasse' where you can park your bike at designated bike racks and then walk up the hill to Vaduz Castle.
