There is no cost associated with walking, but consider purchasing a map at the tourist information for a small fee.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October, the Heidi Bus (PostAuto) provides direct transport from Maienfeld train station to Heididorf. The bus ride takes only a few minutes, saving you a steep 40-minute walk. A single ticket costs CHF 1-3. Check the SBB website or PostAuto app for the exact schedule and to purchase tickets.
