From Steg, drive towards the main road (Landstraße) heading north. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, following the signs for 'Gänglesee'. You will pass a few residential areas and a small park. Keep an eye out for the Gänglesee sign on your right. Once you reach the parking area, park your car. The lake is a short 10-minute walk from the parking lot.

From Steg, take the bus line 22 towards 'Malbun'. The bus stop is located near the village center. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Gänglesee' bus stop. The bus fares can vary, so expect to pay around CHF 2.50-5.00 depending on your exact starting point. From the bus stop, it's a 5-minute walk to the lake. Follow the walking path that leads directly to Gänglesee.
