Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Triesen. Head south on Landstraße (the main road). Continue straight onto Vaduzerstrasse and follow the signs for Schaan. After about 2 km, take a right turn onto Silumstrasse. This road will lead you up the hill towards Gafleisattel. Follow Silumstrasse until you reach the parking area near the hiking trailhead. Parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible. There are no fees for parking in this area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start by taking a bus from Triesen to Schaan. Buses run frequently, and the journey will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive in Schaan, transfer to bus line 21 towards Malbun. Get off at the stop 'Silum.' From there, you will have to walk up Silumstrasse to the Gafleisattel trailhead, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as services may vary on weekends and holidays. The cost for a single bus ticket is approximately 3-5 CHF.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking to Gafleisattel directly from Triesen. The hike will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Begin at the Triesen village center and follow the trail signs leading to Silum. The hike is moderately challenging, so be prepared with proper hiking shoes and water.
