If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Aukštaitija and head towards the A14 highway. Follow the A14 towards Vilnius. After approximately 120 kilometers, take the exit towards Vilnius City Center. Continue on Maironio g. and then turn left onto T. Kosciuškos g. The Former Detention House will be located on your right at T. Kosciuškos g. 1. Parking may be available on the street.

To reach the Former Detention House using public transportation, take a bus from Aukštaitija to Vilnius. The journey will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Vilnius bus station, exit and head to the nearby Vilnius city center. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a tram (lines 1 or 2) towards the city center.
