Car
If you are driving to Observation Bench, start from the town of Nida, which is a popular base for exploring Curonian Spit National Park. Head north on Taikos g. (Road 167) for approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass through a beautiful forest area. Look for signs for the Observation Bench, which is located near the parking area on your right. There is a small parking lot where you can leave your car. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so have some coins ready.
Public Transportation
If you prefer using public transportation, take a bus from Nida to the nearby village of Juodkrantė. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Juodkrantė, walk towards the coast on Maironio g. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the Observation Bench. Follow the signs along the routes, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your return trip, as services may be limited in the evening.
Bicycle
For an active option, consider renting a bicycle in Nida. There are several rental shops available. From Nida, you can cycle north on the designated bike path along the coast. The ride to Observation Bench is around 6 kilometers and offers stunning views of the landscape. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to the Observation Bench. This option allows you to enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty of the area, but remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
