To reach Trakai Island Castle by public transport, take a bus from the nearest bus station in Dzūkija that services routes to Trakai. If you prefer to travel by train, take a train from the nearest railway station in Dzūkija to Vilnius. From Vilnius, take a train to Trakai. The train ride will take about 30 minutes.
