    If you are starting from the Kaunas Old Town, head north towards Maironio Street. Continue straight until you reach Laisvės alėja, one of the main pedestrian streets of Kaunas. Turn left onto Laisvės alėja and walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and cafes. The Church of St. Gertrude is located at Laisvės al. 101B on your right-hand side, just after you pass the intersection with Maironio Street.
