    From the city center of Kaunas, head to the 'Kauno autobusų stotis' (Kaunas Bus Station). You can take bus number 21 towards 'Joniškis' or bus number 29 towards 'Šančiai'. Make sure to check the schedule as the buses may not run frequently. Get off at the 'Archyvo g.' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the 7th Fort of the Kaunas Fortress. Head northeast on Archyvo Street, and you will see the fortress on your left.

    Starting from Laisvės Alėja, walk towards the 'Maironio' statue, then head southeast toward the 'Žaliakalnis Funicular'. Walk up to the top of the hill and continue straight onto the 'Vytauto pr.' road. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto 'Archyvo g.' and follow the road until you reach the 7th Fort. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
