Car
If you are driving from Nida Beach, start by heading northeast on the main road (Neringa Road) towards Neringa's main highway. After about 10 km, follow signs for Klaipėda and merge onto the E272 highway. Continue for approximately 17 km. Take exit 9 towards Palanga. After the exit, follow the signs for Karklė and proceed until you reach Karklė. Once in Karklė, look for signs to Dutchman's Cap (Olando Kepure) which is located by the coast. There is limited parking available near the site; be prepared for a potential cost of around €2-€5 for parking depending on the season.
Public Transportation
To reach Dutchman's Cap via public transportation, first take a bus from Nida to Klaipėda. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Klaipėda, transfer to a bus heading to Karklė. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest times, as they may vary. The bus ride to Karklė should take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Karklė, you will need to walk about 1 km to reach Dutchman's Cap. Follow the signs towards the coast, and you will find the trail leading to Dutchman's Cap.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Nida is a fantastic option. There are several rental shops in the area. Start by cycling northeast on coastal paths leading towards Klaipėda. The route is about 25 km and will take you through scenic views of the coast and forests. Follow the bike lanes that lead towards Karklė. Once you reach Karklė, follow the signs to Dutchman's Cap. This option is free aside from the rental cost, which typically ranges from €10-€15 per day.
