If you are traveling by car, head towards Kaunas city center. From Suvalkija, take the A5 highway towards Kaunas. After about 1.5 hours of driving, take the exit for the city center. Once in Kaunas, follow signs toward the Old Town. Pilies g. is located near the confluence of the Nemunas and Neris rivers. There is limited parking available, so consider using a nearby parking lot or garage, which may incur a fee.

From Suvalkija, catch a bus to Kaunas. Bus services are available from various towns in Suvalkija. Check local schedules for the most accurate times. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Kaunas bus station, exit and look for local buses or trams heading toward the city center. You can take bus number 29 or tram number 1, which will take you closer to the Old Town. Get off at 'Kauno pilis' stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the castle.
