To reach Trakai Island Castle by car from anywhere in Suvalkija, first navigate to the A1 highway heading north towards Vilnius. Depending on your starting point, you may need to follow local roads to connect to the A1. Once on the A1, continue driving for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the exit for Trakai (Exit 23). Follow the signs for Trakai and merge onto the A320 road. Continue on A320, which will take you directly into Trakai. Upon entering the town, follow signs for 'Trakai Castle'. The castle is located on an island, so you will need to park at the designated parking areas nearby. The parking may incur a small fee, usually around €1-€2 per hour.
