Getting There

  • Car

    From Trakai Island Castle, head southeast towards the A4 road. Merge onto A4 towards Vilnius. Continue on A4 for approximately 28 kilometers. As you approach Vilnius, follow signs for the city center. Once in the city, keep left to continue on Savanorių pr. After about 3 kilometers, turn right onto Vokiečių g. The Vilnius Museum of Illusions will be on your right at Vokiečių g. 8. Be aware of potential parking fees in the city center.

    From Trakai Island Castle, walk to the Trakai bus station located about 15 minutes away on foot. Take a bus to Vilnius (the journey takes about 30-40 minutes). Once you arrive at the Vilnius Bus Station, transfer to tram line 1 or 2. Get off at the 'Vokiečių' stop. Walk along Vokiečių g. for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Vilnius Museum of Illusions at Vokiečių g. 8. A bus ticket costs around 1-2 euros, and tram tickets can be purchased on board or at kiosks.
