Car
If you're driving from the center of Bayou Teche, head northwest on LA-31 N toward Lafayette. Continue on LA-31 N for about 30 miles until you reach the intersection with US-167 N. Merge onto US-167 N and follow the signs for Lafayette. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit toward LA-182 E. Continue on LA-182 E, and then take a slight left onto Fisher Rd. Vermilionville Historic Village will be on your left at 300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Vermilionville Historic Village using public transportation, first check if there are local bus services available from your current location in Bayou Teche to Lafayette. You may need to transfer at the Lafayette Transit Center. Once in Lafayette, take the Lafayette Shuttle (Route 5) towards the Southside and get off at the Fisher Rd stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Vermilionville Historic Village located at 300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508. Please check the local transit schedules for any applicable fares.
