  • Public Bus

    From Houma, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Terrebonne Parish Transit bus heading towards Vacherie. The bus will take you along LA-20. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the intersection with LA-18. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles along LA-18 towards the west until you reach St. Joseph Plantation at 3535 LA-18.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service in Houma. Start by heading west on Main Street towards LA-182. Continue on LA-182 until you reach LA-20. Turn right onto LA-20 and follow it until you reach Vacherie. Once in Vacherie, turn left onto LA-18 and bike approximately 2 miles until you see St. Joseph Plantation on your right at 3535 LA-18.

  • Walking

    For a longer walk, start from downtown Houma. Head west on Main Street and continue straight until you reach LA-182. Follow LA-182 until it intersects with LA-20. Turn right onto LA-20 and walk towards Vacherie, which is approximately 5 miles away. Once you reach Vacherie, turn left onto LA-18 and walk about 1 mile to reach St. Joseph Plantation at 3535 LA-18.
