  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Houma Civic Center, exit the center and head east on West Park Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bayou Black Drive. Turn left onto Bayou Black Drive and follow it for approximately 1 mile. After crossing the bridge, take a right onto Museum Drive. Southdown Plantation & Museum will be on your left at 1208 Museum Dr.

    From the Houma Transit Center, take Bus Line 1 toward Bayou Black. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Bayou Black Drive and Museum Drive.
