Car
From Luxembourg City, take the A7/E421 towards Ettelbruck. Continue on the A7/E421 until you reach exit 56 towards Diekirch. Follow the signs for Vianden and continue on the N17. Once in Vianden, follow the signs for the castle which is located on a hill overlooking the town. There are parking areas available at the base of the hill where you can leave your car and walk up to the castle.

You can walk up to the castle from the town center. Alternatively, you can take a chairlift from the town up to the castle for a scenic ride.
