Panoramic Bliss at Kailslee Viewpoint

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Clervaux Castle, a prominent landmark in the center of Clervaux. From the castle, head south towards the main street, Rue de la Gare. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du Commerce. Turn right onto Rue du Commerce and walk along it until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Abbatiale. Here, you will see the impressive Abbey of Clervaux on your left. Continue straight on Rue de l'Abbatiale, which will eventually lead you out of the town and into the surrounding countryside. Keep an eye out for the trail signs marking the way to Kailslee Viewpoint.

• Walking

  After about 20 minutes of walking along Rue de l'Abbatiale, you will encounter a forest trail on your right. Take this trail and follow it as it winds through the trees. The path may be slightly steep in some sections, so be prepared for a little hike. As you continue, you'll enjoy views of the picturesque landscape surrounding Clervaux. Follow the trail signs that direct you towards Kailslee Viewpoint.

• Walking

  After approximately 30 minutes on the forest trail, you will arrive at a clearing where Kailslee Viewpoint is located. This viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of the Clervaux valley and the surrounding countryside. Take some time to enjoy the scenery and take photos. To return to Clervaux, simply retrace your steps back along the same trail.
