From Diekirch, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the central square (Place de la Gare). Look for a bus that is heading towards Bastogne. The bus service is operated by CFL, and the route you need is the line that connects Diekirch to Bastogne. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bastogne, disembark at the main bus station.
Walking
If you prefer to explore on foot after arriving in Bastogne, from the bus station, exit and head towards the main road (Avenue de la Gare). Turn left and continue walking straight. Keep following the road until you reach the intersection with Rue de Neufchâteau. Turn right onto Rue de Neufchâteau and walk for about 15 minutes. You will see signs directing you to the Bastogne War Museum, which is located at Colline du Mardasson 5.

If you are up for a cycling adventure, you can rent a bike in Diekirch and take the bike path towards Bastogne. Follow the signs for the bike route which is well-marked. The ride could take about an hour and will take you through the scenic countryside. Once you reach Bastogne, continue until you see the signs for the Bastogne War Museum located at Colline du Mardasson 5.
